  • This initiative involves the negotiation of mineral exploration Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUA) over the highly prospective Gawler Craton and Curnamona Provinces.
  • The aim is to reduce mineral exploration risk related to native title land and enhance land access for mineral exploration and improve commercial relationships between explorers and native title holders.
  • The project scope is currently being developed for implementation and commencement late in Q1 2021.
  • The benefits of this project include access arrangements that deliver greater certainty to both explorers and native title parties, the development of a leading practice and consistent agreement-making framework and  ensuring land access arrangements better meet the need of all parties and maximise benefits for the state.
