- This jointly funded project with the Streaky Bay and Districts Community Complex, is to upgrade the water supply to the current irrigation system at the Streaky Bay Oval, by installing two 500,000 litre water tanks with connections to the current water supply.
- The State Government has contributed $64,000 to this project.
- This project will improve safety and assist in encouraging greater participation in the sports that are currently played on the Streaky Bay oval surface, and to foster the interest and participation in the development areas of female cricket and AFLW.
- Investment into water storage infrastructure will enable all home games to be played on the surface and foster higher usage from association, inter association and special carnival and community events.
