- The iconic Prairie Hotel in the Flinders Ranges & Outback will receive $464,419 in funding under the Tourism Industry Development Fund.
- The grant will go towards a major $1.5 million refurbishment which will see an upgrade of the bar and restaurant, accommodation and the inclusion of a new microbrewery.
- This will help the owners develop the hotel and position the region as a showcase for food and drink, unique experiences including the Ediacaran Fossils of Nilpena. This will attract more visitors to the Flinders Ranges & Outback which will in turn, create more jobs in the region.
