The project will upgrade the Gundrys Hill Lookout Reserve, by building a new picnic area with shelter and sitting area.
The project site forms part of the Kidman Horse Trail, which is in an elevated position overlooking the township of Kapunda.
The goals of the project include creating a public space for visitors and the local community, and promoting local historic attractions to expand cultural tourism to the area.
Key highlights include: a new picnic area, play space and lawn area, landscaping, lighting, signage, stairway and ramps.
This project is delivered through local council.
Total investment: $360,000 ($120,000 in state government grants).
