Disability Access to Community Infrastructure and Facilities - Local Government Infrastructure Partnership Program
The Port Pirie Regional Council has been announced to receive $759,250 from the State Government's Local Government Infrastructure Partnership Program.
The project includes access improvements to Crystal Brook Swimming Pool Amenities, public toilets, and a number of public buildings and bus shelters across the region.
The Local Government Infrastructure Partnership Program was established to support councils to accelerate spending on community infrastructure projects that contribute to the future economic growth of the region, or support the Government’s Growth State agenda, or improve local infrastructure facilities for businesses and community organisations to enable them to grow in the future, or upgrade key community facilities.
Applications to the Local Government Infrastructure Partnership Program are now closed.

Public toilets at: Woodward Park, Port Pirie; Memorial Park, Port Pirie; Lawrie Park, Nelshaby; Mortimer Park, Redhill; White Cliffs, Koolunga. Improvements to public buildings at: Crystal Brook Library; Crystal Brook Institute; Koolunga Institute; Redhill Institute; Senior Citizens; Redhill Community Centre; Mundoora Soldiers Memorial Institute; Railway Platform Community Buildings; Keith Michel Theatre; Crystal Brook Swimming Pool; and ten bus stops across the Council region.
